Date Pudding

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb. dates

1 c. water

1 c. sugar

15 rolled (crushed) graham crackers

1/2 c. melted butter

1 c. chopped nuts

2 T. flour

2 t. baking powder

3/4 c. milk


DIRECTIONS:

Cook dates, water, and sugar. Allow to cool. Mix together graham crackers, butter, eggs, sugar, chopped nuts, flour, baking powder, and milk. Add cooked mix last. Bake in greased shallow pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve cold with whipped cream.
