Crackerjacks

10 c popped popcorn

1 c brown sugar

1 1/2 c peanuts (optional)

1 stick margarine

1 c dark corn syrup

1/4 t salt

1/4 t baking soda

1/2 t vanilla

Combine popcorn and peanuts in 8x12 inch pan. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, salt; mix well. Boil 3 minutes stirring constantly.; remove from heat. Add soda & vanilla. Mix quickly. Pour over popcorn & coat well. Bake at 250 degrees for 20 minutes. Stir occasionally.
